Declare war against Satan

Hey, here's a really crazy idea, don't forget to add a little fightin' words into our prayers!

SASB 703
TO WAR! TO WAR! who'll the war cry obey?
'Tis the great God who calls you to fight while it is day;
Though the battle be fierce, and though mighty the foe,
The Salvation Army to victory must go.

Fighting on, fighting on;
With the Blood and Fire
We will never tire.
We'll fight until the Master calls.

Jesus, I want to obey and I want to fight. Equip me and use me to fight fierce in a fierce battle. Equip me with a fierce Love, a fierce peace, and fierce wisdom the Enemy can't stand against. In the name of Jesus, Son of the Most High God, I'm coming after you, Satan. To demolish the strongholds you have in this world. It's war. And I'll fight, I'll fight till the very end. And I won't get tired of defeating you!
Amen

The Love of the Father

God loves us a whole heck of a lot more than we love Him. Whenever we fall short, His hand is stayed because He loves, and eagerly awaits our return. More than anything, He wants His great incomprehensible, true, and right Love to be received, and deserves to be worshiped. I've been trying to press in close to Jesus during this week. I'm sucking at it, but I'm going to continue to try to stay steadfast and I'm still determined to re-read a bit of good ol' Samuel Logan Brengle's Helps to Holiness.

I've been "Home" for what seems like a week now but it has only been 3 days. It feels like home a whole lot less now. Because mainly what made it "Home" was that Eve was here. With much prayer and careful consideration, I'm no longer engaged to her. I've only stayed in St. Petersburg this long for her. So, for the past number of weeks Satan keeps telling me I'm lost. Thankfully, I know he sucks and I know that the LORD will continue to guide me.

Praise His mighty name! For the Lamb seated on the throne is worthy! Through exile, captivity, wandering, or flying straight, let it be His plans for my future. Amen.
